A Vegetarian in Mind, But Not in Deed

I fall within the unique group of being a vegetarian in your mind, but not in deed; I eat fish and merchandise that may contain animal produce (cheese, biscuits etc) but what exactly is it all about, this difference of opinion between omnivores, carnivores and vegetarians?

Some veggies exist because they do not like cruelty to animals; regardless of the artificially-advertised world of 'animals are looked after', it certainly is going to get down to the bottom line of killing a full time income creature to be able to eat its flesh.

Well, okay, many people say we want meat to outlive and thrive; this, despite humans lacking the teeth or stomach capabilities of true carnivores - we have to cook meat to be able to digest it, that is something of enigma as to believe that old Wives' Tale it's a 'natural' food source. Our teeth will also be shaped to bite nuts and fruits - note the main difference between shark or cat teeth and also the human variety; we're not meant to chew raw meat.

Health wise, a dilemma: some essential vitamins are only able to readily be present in meat - if you don't want to harvest obscure crops like seaweed; yet consensus of opinion says that the veggie weight loss program is better - certainly, the med diet of olives and oils, fruit, rice, pasta, has been shown to be a healthy method to keep hearts and bodies from seizing up prematurely; the British diet is responsible for a vast rise in heart and artery-related problems, when compared to healthier regime of Italians, for instance.

Obesity reigns, and much of the is brought on by the consumption of 'unhealthy' foods, specially those that contain processed ingredients for example trans fatty acids - fundamental essentials things that block arteries and cause cardiac arrest.

But, society dictates it just isn't simple to maintain a nutritious diet and comply with the wishes of others - including pressures of contemporary living.
